Audi’s top of the line R8 GT has reached its first lucky customer in the UK, making him one of 333 people set to receive the keys to the 560 horsepower supercar.
The limited production Audi R8 GT is not simply about exclusivity, as a significant amount of effort was put towards improving the cars performance. A total of 220 pounds was removed from the vehicle by way of carbon-fiber composites and Audi Space Frame technology.
The added power and lighter weight enables the GT to accelerate to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
The numbers speak for their selves, combined with a unique AWD/mid-engine platform and it’s no wonder why all 333 vehicles already have a home.
